In this role, you are responsible for the design and further development of architecture concepts for business applications within public administration. The focus lies on developing transition architectures to migrate existing applications to a microservice based architecture using Spring Boot. You support the implementation and continuously evolve the architecture.
Your Responsibilities
- Development of transition architectures for migrating existing applications to a microservice based architecture with Spring Boot
- Support of implementation and continuous further development of the architecture
- Architectural activities such as system architectures, solution concepts, prototypes, interfaces, data management, security, integration, and deployments, including the corresponding documentation
- Contribution to the creation of HERMES documentation
- Support of product teams in the development and infrastructure setup of custom business applications as well as standard products
What You Bring Along
- Degree HF, FH, BSc, or MSc in Computer Science or a comparable discipline
- At least 5 years, ideally 8 years of experience in software architecture
- Ideally 4 years of experience in solution architecture for large systems
- Ideally 8 years of experience as a developer or architect in the replacement of IT systems
- Ideally several years of experience in public administration and with IT architecture in the federal administration
- Ideally 5 years of experience with microservice architectures
- Experience in the field of security, for example PKI, authentication and authorisation, application level encryption, or network security
- Experience with synchronous integration and interfaces such as SOAP, REST, JSON, gRPC, or SEDEX
- Experience with asynchronous integration and interfaces such as event brokers or streaming technologies, for example Kafka, Schema Registry, AsyncAPI, JMS, or IBM MQ
- Experience with microservice deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Ideally 5 years of experience in developing Angular frontends
- German language skills at ESP level C1 or native proficiency
- French language skills at ESP level B1 or higher
