In this role, you actively contribute to the migration and further development of key business applications in the federal environment. As an experienced software engineer, you bring your expertise in Spring Boot, Angular, and modern integration architectures into an agile setting and develop high performance, future oriented solutions. You work methodically within clearly structured teams with established agile roles and make a significant contribution to the sustainable modernisation of the systems.

Your Responsibilities

  • Full stack software development with Java and Spring as well as JavaScript
  • Collaboration in an agile team following Scrum, including the corresponding artefacts
  • Contribution to the development and implementation of architecture concepts
  • Development of automated tests
  • Development and maintenance of the data model

What You Bring Along

  • Degree HF, FH, BSc, or MSc in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer, including at least 3 years using Spring as a backend technology
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Testing, Spring Data, Spring Batch, and or Spring Security
  • Experience with JSON, REST, and OpenAPI, including their implementation with Spring
  • Knowledge of working with SOAP, particularly interface definitions, XML, SOAP UI, and integration with Spring
  • Experience with databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL as well as SQL, data modelling, PL SQL, and data types
  • Experience in frontend development with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 as well as Playwright or Cypress
  • Knowledge of test automation with JUnit, Selenium, and or Playwright
  • Experience working with IntelliJ, Maven, Git, Jenkins, and or Sonar
  • Good knowledge of Scrum ceremonies, roles and responsibilities, Scrum artefacts, and performance metrics in agile teams or product backlog management
  • German language skills at ESP level C1 or native proficiency
  • French and or English language skills at ESP level C1 are an advantage
  • Experience within the federal administration is a plus
