In your role as a Business Analyst you will take on a key position in projects within the police and justice environment. You bridge the gap between business and IT, translate complex requirements into precise models and ensure clear structures. With your experience in process modeling, interdisciplinary collaboration and modern tools, you will support the digital advancement of core applications in a security-relevant environment.
Your responsibilities
- Analyze, gather and document business and technical requirements
- Model processes using UML and BPMN tools (e.g. Innovator, Sparx Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw)
- Visualize concepts with UX modeling tools such as Figma or Balsamiq
- Collaborate with stakeholders from police, justice and administration
- Conduct interdisciplinary requirements analysis across organizational boundaries
- Apply agile methods and use tools such as Jira and Confluence in daily project work
What you bring along
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in the public sector
- Certification in Business Analysis / Requirements Engineering (e.g. IREB or CAS)
- Solid UML and BPMN knowledge with practical experience using common UML tools
- Project experience in the police and justice environment
- Experience in gathering interdisciplinary and cross-project requirements
- Proficiency with UX modeling tools (e.g. Figma, Balsamiq)
- Several years of experience with Jira and Confluence
- Excellent German language skills and French at least at level B2
